No jewelry, just grace

No jewelry, just grace
Sometimes (I really hope that is only and only sometimes) I am such a bad luck ass. Imagine - I was dreaming for months to come back home for Holidays (to my lovely Italy), I booked my ticket months ago, I packed my best clothes and guess what?! On arrival we found out that one of our luggages were lost (for the second time this year). Not so dramatic if you think that basically that was my husband's suitcase, not mine :)) but...as my suitcase was full (as usually happens) I packed my vanity and jewelry cases in his luggage. Now, if you look carefully at my outfit you'll see the very basic accessories I was wearing there. Pratically those are the only ones saved as I was wearing them on the flight to Rome. As we often rush to complain we don't see the wise or positive side of things but at the end I realized that my look is not poor without opulent or even discreet necklace (I was so distressed I don't have anything to accessorize my outfit). And you know what? Sometimes the simplicity is the best accessory. My top and skirt are so graceful and opulent that actually there is no need for any extra accessory to enhance the appearance.

Culottes Coveting

Currently Coventing: Culottes
Culottes, gauchos, wide-leg cropped pants — are having a serious fashion moment right now.

Alexander Wang showed a louche take on the work trouser, paired cooly with a crop top. Proenza Schouler's culotte had a '70s vibe with a high waist and military jacket counterpart—while Hermes showed a luxe, belted leather iteration styled insouciantly with a trench coat. And having just wrapped the Fall '14 shows, the culotte is proving its staying power on the runway, too.

Midi for my wardrobe

Midi for my wardrobe
[RO] O fusta medie e un must have in orice garderoba dar mai ales in a mea.

[ENG] The midi skirt is a must have in any wardrobe but especially mine. It's a perfect piece to wear back home (Europe, where I come from) matching  it with a crop top. And is acceptable in a Muslim country as well (with higher tolerance vis-a-vis how the expats dressed up)  like United Arab Emirates (where I  live and work) matching it with (white, pink...whatever you like) shirt. Maybe for  Dubai a longer skirt should be more suitable, but belive me, no one will say anything here. This skirt (and a similar one that I will post soon   here) I got from Oasap. And speaking of Oasap I remembered now a msg from one of my reader who asked me on Facebook if  the quality of clothes is good or worth to buy etc. It's not a secret, it is well known that the clothes purchased at Asian stores are not high quality but  they are pretty cute and cost less. Since I start blogging I had opportunity to get really nice and  sometimes low-quality too. The good ones I can compare them to Zara or H & M clothing. That is not so bad but definitely not good as  Prada's, to be clear. So, I believe the clothing from Oasap  or other Asian online shops  has a right value for price. The most important thing that you have to pay attention is the right size  when you choose an item. It happened  that I got  clothingg in size S that certain was designed to someone that wearing XS. Either I grew up and I  haven't realized that I  wear M already?! :)) (my advice is to check de size in cm when you purchase clothes online).
