Tokyo Fashion

Tokyo Fashion
ENG| Probably seeing these pictures you'll have the same reaction I had myself in Tokyo.  Astonishment. You will not believe but I was so excited to study this phenomenon that I couldn't miss a second to do something else like taking pictures. Luckily I found a lot of photos on Tokyo Fashion blog so you cand admire and believe what I am telling you here. Certainly we talk about an extreme streetstyle . Extreme for  Europeans maybe or those people used to wear jeans and convers all year. The Japanese fashion  is like a rainbow fall in asian Lolita'a wardrobe. The diversity of colors and characters represented make you feel in the middle  of  Halloween . At first I was convinced that everything you see is strange then, later on,  I got a deep curiosity about the looks.  How the Japanese are creating and where they  find their outfits? ( Shops offer is incredible in Tokyo) . In the last few days of my holiday in Japan I wanted nothing more than a cartoon print skirt, some purple platforms and as many colored socks . I must confess the Japanese passion for colors, prints, cartoons and details are very contagious   :))

I would LOVE to stay longer in Japan (to have time to experiment more). A country where you are certainly free to represent yourself through clothing as you feel :)

Love,

Nicole

  10. Hi, Nicole!
You know what surprises me is that Tokyo Fashion Week is not perceived as Milan or Paris or London fashion weeks.... this place should enjoy the same rank as those big cities on the fashion map. Look at this!!! This is absolutely MIND BLOWING, and IMO any self expression deserves admiration and acceptance, agree? It is not to my taste but I guess if I were to spend even few hours I would get this 'contagious' trend :) this is fun, this is young, this is so against those set stereotypes, you are free to wear how and what you want, this is absolutely amazing, thanks for sharing!!! Have a great week! <3
